Custom Jewels are TickMU's own crafting jewels, separate from the standard Chaos / Bless / Soul / Life / Creation jewels used in the Chaos Machine. Each one applies an upgrade straight to an item: a level, an option, or a full Ancient transformation.
This guide is about building Semi-Uber gear. Level, Skill, Luck, Additional, Excellent and Ancient 1/2 can all be had through normal play, using the Golden Archer exchange and the event drops below. Jewel of Full (the shortcut to Full Uber) works differently and can't be farmed, but it's covered in Way 3.
What Each Custom Jewel Does

| Jewel of Luck | Adds the Luck option to your item, if it's currently missing. |
| Jewel of Additional | Increases the Life option (Additional Damage/Defense). Max +28 on weapons, +7 on shields/armor. |
| Jewel of Excellent | Adds one random Excellent option. An item can hold up to 5 Excellent options. |
| Jewel of Ancient 1 & 2 | Transforms an item into its matching Ancient Set piece (see the Ancient Set Names: Lore guide for which jewel maps to which set). |
| Jewel of Full [Rare] | Instantly grants +13 and 6 Excellent options in one go. It's the only way past the Semi-Uber limits below and into a Full Uber item. |
The Semi-Uber Rule: Level, Skill, Luck, Additional, Excellent and Ancient jewels only work on items with up to 2 Excellent options and +12 level. If the item already has 3+ options or is already +13, the jewel is blocked. That's the gap Jewel of Full exists to skip.
Way 1: Golden Archer NPC Exchange (Devias)
The fastest and guaranteed route, with no RNG and no waiting on drops. Trade Stardust plus a stack of a standard jewel to the Golden Archer in Devias:

The Golden Archer does not exchange for Jewel of Ancient 1/2 or Jewel of Full. Those only come from the event drops and staff distribution below. The same NPC also trades 64x Golden Box for a Magic Backpack, and 3,000 Stardust + a class-specific jewel for a full Tier 3 Uber Set (see the Golden Archer NPC Exchange Guide and Celestial Boss & Sets Guide for that side of the exchange).
Where to get Stardust: 1x from every World Boss Invasion killing blow, and 8/12/16x from placing in the Lorencia Race Track. Hydra, Zaikan, Gorgon, Death Beam Knight and Erohim are the same roaming World Boss Invasion bosses. They're not exclusive to Castle Deep, they just have a chance to also be up during its Wave 3. When one of them does show up there, the Stardust drop is guaranteed on the kill.
Way 2: Event Drops
All of these deliver items straight to your inventory, no trading needed:

Way 3: Jewel of Full [Rare, Full Uber Only]
Jewel of Full is the one exception in this guide. It's not farmable and not sold anywhere. It's handed out directly by the staff team during seasonal event occasions only, as the rare shortcut to a Full Uber item. Outside of one of those occasions, there's no way to obtain it. Build toward Semi-Uber gear with the jewels above instead (Jewel of Ancient + up to 2 Excellent options), and treat Full Uber as a bonus if staff ever hands you one, not something to farm toward. Success Rates When Using Them
Landing the jewel doesn't guarantee the upgrade succeeds. Your VIP tier affects your odds. Full breakdown in the Semi Uber Full Options Sets Guide and Official VIP System guide. Standard Jewels (Bless, Soul, Life, Harmony) sit at 80%-100% for everyone regardless of tier.
